Adwait vedanta says we all are one. So this way is Aatman and Parmatma same? Can a person become god like billions of people worship Buddha?
The concept of a person becoming a god is a belief that varies depending on religion and culture. In monotheistic religions like Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, the belief is that only one God exists, and that God is separate from creation. So, it is not possible for a person to become a god in this belief system.
In polytheistic religions and mythologies, there are multiple gods and goddesses, many of which were once human before being elevated to divinity. In some cases, it is believed that a person can attain godhood through exceptional deeds or by being chosen by the existing gods.
In some spiritual belief systems, it is believed that every person has the potential to become god-like, or to reach a state of enlightenment where one’s consciousness is united with the divine.
It’s important to note that the concept of god varies greatly between different cultures and religions, and it’s a complex topic with many different interpretations.
